Landcare Sunday 27th cancelled - Not looking good - Friday 25th?
Hi All,
We don’t seem to be having much luck with weather.... 
This Sunday 27th is not looking good with a forecast of 4-9 degrees and rainy and windy!!!
Therefore I don’t see much point in programming it and cancelling.
Would anyone like to join me on Friday 25th at say 9.30 at Schwarz/Flynn playground?
No sweat if you can’t….

Hello All,
Apologies for late notice – a bit of a habit
We’ll meet at the Flynn Playground (north) end of Schwarz Place.
Planning to move due east and work up the southern side of the gully track,
then return down the other side.
Woody weeds, especially small Cootamundra Wattle, are the focus,
and noting any outbreaks of other weeds that might need a spray instead.

Mt Rogers Landcare Working Bee Sunday 29 June 9.30am

Landcare working Bee on Sunday 29 June at 9.30 am.
Meeting at Northern end of Schwarz Place (Flynn Playground).
We will start above the path and work our way towards the south then u turn and head back north.
No rain forecast at this stage.

G’day All,
Meet at Wickens Place car park at 9.am.
Planning to work through the cleared areas near the water tanks as any remaining woody weeds will be obvious.
Forecast rain over the next few days should help weed removal efforts.
For your information and as an update, GCG and Landcare met with Govt agencies yesterday to discuss recent physical fire hazard reduction activities which have been quite severe. This clearing has now ceased for the time being to enable fire hazard reclassification of Mt Rogers and a review of any subsequent hazard reduction activity required to meet risk mitigation of the new classification. This is a good outcome for all parties that will help preserve the Mt Rogers natural environment.
